Facilities
The philosophy of Court House Care Home encourages our residents to make their rooms personal, making this a home from home. Our team will be more than happy to help you. This is your own personal space and our rooms are furnished to high standards by an experienced interior design team. If you would like to change or add any furniture, we can source this for you at an additional cost.
Each room is provided with a profiling bed, with enhanced positioning and excellent postural support. All beds have optimised mattress platform, to reduce shear or friction. We use noodles mattress’ which has been designed to reduce the risk of pressure damage, if you require an extended period of time in bed.
Your bed linen, towels and dressing gowns are provided by the Home. We provide a laundry service, included in your room cost. Please ensure all items of clothing are labelled with your name are machine washable and suitable for tumble drying. For an extra cost we can arrange for a dry-cleaning service.
We take immense pride in offering three distinct nursing units, each tailored to meet the unique needs of our cherished elderly residents.
Beacon unit
Beacon is the warm embrace for those who have recently embarked on their journey away from home and into our loving arms. Here, we understand the challenges of this transition, and our dedicated team provides full nursing care to ensure a seamless adaptation. Our residents find solace in a place that offers not only medical support but also the warmth of a true home.
Hollybush
Hollybush is a haven specially designed for our younger residents with unique and complex needs. Our compassionate staff are trained to cater to the specialised requirements of these exceptional individuals, ensuring they receive the care, attention, and support they deserve. In this nurturing environment, we foster growth, independence, and a sense of belonging.
Midsummer
Midsummer is where we extend our unwavering support to those in the twilight of their lives. Here, we provide full nursing and end-of-life care with profound respect and tenderness. It's a place where comfort, dignity, and the celebration of a life well-lived are at the heart of everything we do. Our residents and their families find solace in the knowledge that their loved ones are cared for with the utmost compassion.
Bathrooms
All of our rooms have a wash basin, with some offering an en-suite and others, a toilet facility. In addition there is a shared bathroom facility and our team is trained to provide respectful and dignified assistance according to individual mobility needs.
Call System
We have a state-of-the-art call system for your peace of mind, should you require assistance any time of the day or night. The call system is easy to use and will alert a member of our team, who will attend to your need in a timely manner.
Newspapers
We are able to arrange a daily delivery of your favourite newspaper or magazine, the cost can then simply be added to your monthly bill.
Communal areas
We encourage social interaction and companionship in one of our comfortable lounges or reception areas. These areas can be utilised for family events or recreational activities.
Dining
We offer restaurant style fine dining for all meals, your personal preferences will be taken upon arrival. Your meals will then be delivered to your table in the dining room or into your room, dependant on your personal choice. Our chefs provide traditional home cooked meals with recommendations from trained nurses and dieticians, taking into account your cultural or religious and specific dietary requirements.
