The Court House Care Home Malvern

Spring Adventures and Easter Celebrations

It has been a wonderfully uplifting and activity filled month at Court House Care Home, with residents enjoying a perfect mix of fresh air, social time, and seasonal celebrations. With the arrival of brighter weather, everyone has been making the most of the sunshine, spending more time outdoors and embracing the positive impact it brings to wellbeing and mood.

The team organised several trips out across the local area, offering residents a change of scenery while still keeping outings familiar and comfortable. Whether it was a gentle drive, a short stroll, or simply sitting outside and enjoying the surroundings, these moments allowed residents to relax, connect, and take in the beauty of the season. The simple pleasure of sunshine, conversation, and fresh air has made a meaningful difference throughout the home.

Easter celebrations brought a real sense of creativity and fun, starting with the making of handmade Easter bonnets. Residents took great pride in designing their own unique creations, each one full of colour and personality. The activity sparked plenty of laughter and conversation, and it was clear how much everyone enjoyed expressing themselves and sharing in the experience together.

The excitement continued with a range of Easter themed events. Well done to the winners of the Grand National Lucky Dip, which added a touch of friendly competition and anticipation. The Easter raffle also brought everyone together, with some willing helpers stepping forward to pick out the winning tickets. Congratulations to all our Easter raffle winners, and we hope you enjoyed your goodies.

A highlight of the celebrations was a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who arrived with a selection of chocolate treats that were very warmly received. The joy on everyone’s faces said it all, and many of the treats were enjoyed straight away, adding an extra layer of fun to the day.

Residents also took part in a lively Easter egg hunt, searching high and low for hidden chocolates and Easter surprises. The activity brought plenty of laughter and light hearted fun, while also giving everyone another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors in the spring sunshine.

In addition to Easter festivities, the home also celebrated Garden Week, looking ahead to the warmer months and the opportunity to get involved in planting and gardening activities. As part of this, a generous seed donation from Dobbies will support upcoming planting sessions, giving residents something to look forward to as they prepare for summer and continue to enjoy time outside.

Overall, it has been a month full of sunshine, creativity, and meaningful connection. From local outings to joyful celebrations, life at Court House Care Home continues to be vibrant and engaging, with plenty more to look forward to in the weeks ahead.
