Celebrations, Music and Meaningful Moments at Court House Care Home
It has been a wonderfully vibrant and emotional time at Court House this March, as residents and team members came together to enjoy a series of meaningful celebrations, creative activities and shared moments that brought the whole home closer together.
We recently said goodbye to our much loved activities coordinator, Sophie, with a truly memorable leaving party that was filled with laughter, music and heartfelt appreciation, as residents and colleagues reflected on the joy and energy she has brought to daily life. The occasion was made even more special with a fantastic Debbie Harry tribute act, which had everyone singing along to familiar hits and many up on their feet dancing, creating a lively and uplifting atmosphere that felt like the perfect send off in recognition of everything Sophie has contributed.
The celebrations continued with St Patrick’s Day, which brought a splash of green and a wonderful sense of fun throughout the home, as residents enjoyed arts and crafts sessions where they created colourful decorations while spending time together in a relaxed and cheerful setting that encouraged conversation, creativity and connection.
We also marked International Women’s Day by celebrating the incredible women who are such an important part of life at Court House Care Home, taking time to reflect on their achievements, strength and experiences, while sharing stories and showing appreciation for one another in a way that felt both meaningful and uplifting.
At Court House, we are passionate about creating opportunities for connection, enjoyment and shared experiences every day, knowing that whether through music, creativity or reflection, these moments help to shape a warm and supportive environment where everyone feels valued, and this month has been a perfect example of that.
