Superior Care unveils transformation plans for Court House Care Home

Superior Care (Midlands) is pleased to announce more details on the transformation plans for Court House Care Home on Court Road following the green light being given for its radical refurbishment before Christmas.
Having been a landmark for more than 70 years, later this year the buildings will be transformed into a state-of-the-art development on the same premises, bringing vital and much-needed enhancements to care provision in Malvern.
Anticipated to start in the coming months, the ambitious project – which has been more than two years in the making – will increase capacity and introduce a brand-new facility for residents and the public.
The expanded home will feature 31 beautifully appointed large bedrooms with rooms, each designed with comfort and dignity in mind, and which will support both physical and emotional well-being.
The newly constructed buildings will include various lounges and dining rooms, where residents can enjoy home-cooked meals prepared by the on-site catering teams. There will be a cinema room along with a specifically designed sensory room that will offer a space designed to stimulate the senses through light, sound and texture.
Other exciting additions for residents, families, and the general public to enjoy will include a café/Bistro and the region’s only hydrotherapy pool.
Speaking of the development and the addition of the pool, Shindar Chall, CEO of Superior Care (Midlands), says: “We have wanted this development to become a reality for so long and we’re delighted that the approval has now been given.
“We understand the difference that accessible and high-quality care can make and through this ambitious expansion, we’re not just building a new facility – we’re building a better community for engagement with Malvern’s residents and families.
“For many local people we know that access to hydrotherapy services has been limited, with long waiting lists and few available slots. Our new facility will offer a hydrotherapy pool to aid rehabilitation and alleviating chronic pain – and it will be accessible to everyone on a booking basis.
“The expansion aims to create a vibrant, inclusive community resource that enhances quality of life for all who use it.”
The new care development will also feature an on-site training centre for continuous staff learning, a hair salon and a cinema room for residents’ use only.
