The Court House Care Home Malvern

Festive Fun and Christmas Cheer at Court House

Christmas at Court House has brought much joy throughout the homes. From festive baking and animal visits to community celebrations filled with music and laughter.

One of the sweetest moments of the season came during our gingerbread decorating sessions.

Residents enjoyed getting creative with icing and decorations before moving on to the most important part of all, the taste testing. With smiles all round, it was agreed that the gingerbread creations were absolutely fabulous and a perfect way to enjoy a cosy Christmas activity together.

There was great excitement when Court House welcomed some very special four legged visitors. Thanks to Angels Animal Ark, residents had the pleasure of meeting five year old reindeer Tom Tom and five month old Cookie. The sound of bells, the gentle nature of the animals and the joy on residents’ faces created a truly magical atmosphere. It was a wonderful experience for all ages and one that will be remembered for a long time.

Our Christmas Fete was another highlight of the season and a true community effort. Despite the rain, so many people braved the weather and came along to support the day. With a well stocked bottle stall, hot food and drinks, Christmas hampers in the raffle, games and visits to Santa’s grotto, there was plenty to enjoy. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, an incredible £582 was raised for our residents fund. Adding to the festive feeling, the Court House Choir took advantage of a brief dry spell to share a few Christmas carols, directed by Santa himself in between his very busy grotto visits.

Christmas at Court House is about connection, laughter and creating memories that bring comfort and happiness to our residents. Whether it is baking gingerbread, singing carols or meeting a reindeer up close, each experience adds to the magic of the season. We are so thankful to everyone who has helped make this Christmas such a joyful one and we look forward to enjoying many more festive moments as the celebrations continue.
